Nelspruit based company, Dryers for Africa, specializes in the design and manufacture of agricultural processing equipment.
For more than 3 decades, Dryers for Africa has been supplying dryers and processing equipment to commercial and small-scale emerging farmers.
The company's success has been largely due to extensive knowledge and experience in drying and processing of fruit, vegetables, herbs, nuts and meat. The process of drying and juicing has in the past been the domain of large commercial organizations with the exception of sun-drying, which has a number of limitations.
Our aim is to provide you with a complete solution. From the initial planning, concept and design phases, through to manufacturing, assembly, delivery, installation and commissioning, and lastly through to training, technical and operational support, product development and market connections.
YOUR SUCCESS IS OUR SUCCESS.

Hamish Brebner started his own fruit drying and pulping/juicing plant in the early 90's when farming near White River. After realizing the potential of value-adding to agricultural produce, a decision was made to diversify into supplying drying systems for other farmers while, still operating the processing factory, Fruits of Africa. In 2008, He sold the farm and factory to concentrate on offering solutions in drying and other value-adding processes, particularly to small-scale and emerging farmers /entrepreneurs, through Dryers for Africa. Hamish retired in 2018.
